Tornado Proof

Our construction site in Wichita, KS was recently hit by a tornado on 4/14/2012. We had 6 of your B950 radios on a 6 bank charger in a construction trailer that was completely demolished by the tornado. In picking through the rubble spread over a large area, we were able to locate all 6 of the B950 radios and the charger (which was laying under one of the trailer walls in a field).

Out of curiosity, we tested the charger and were supreised to find it working although it had received considerable damage. We put the radios on the charger, and after a couple of hours were amazed to find that every single one of the radios was in perfect working order. This is no small accomplisment. The radios had obvoiusly recieved some pretty torturous treatment in the tornado. Some of them were dug out of the mud and water.

The BR950 has a huge selection of available accessories. Earpieces, speaker mics, headsets, holsters, VOX headsets, it has it all.

The accessory jack has a screw-in connector which securely locks the accessory in place so it doesn't get yanked out by accident. This also protects the accessory jack from damage.

It is also compatible with any Motorola 2-prong accessory as well.
