A letter from the President: Top 10 Reasons to Buy from Discount Two-Way Radio
My staff asked me to type up 10 reasons to buy from us. I'm working on this at my desk just before leaving for home at 6:22 pm. Writing without a net. Off the top of my head.
Why? Because I could come up with 10 reasons to do business with Discount Two-Way Radio in my SLEEP. This won't take me more than 30 minutes to type. I'll be home by 7pm. Guaranteed.
In fact, I'll even handicap myself a little. I'll tie one hand behind my back and still beat our competition like a rented mule. I'll pack some of these reasons with 3 or 4 reasons and only count them as ONE.
If, after reading this list, you still want to do business with “The M WORD”, I'll pay for a free head exam. Do I sound cocky? Read this list and see if you don't agree...
Ok, here we go...
Reason 1: Lowest Price on RCA Equipment ...Guaranteed.
If you find a lower price on any RCA branded two-way radios anywhere else within 30 days of purchase we will refund you double the difference in price!
(That was fast. It's only 6:23pm. My staff really needs to challenge me more.)

I don't know of one single competitor who teaches you how to spend LESS on radios each year. But we do. Why? Because we want you to keep coming back when you really do need new radios.
(There. I just churned out 3 more reasons, called them “one” and I'm still full of ideas. This is a cake walk.)
Reason 3: We Talk Straight about FCC “Narrowband” Compliance.
If you purchased your radios within the last 10 years there is a 99.9% chance your radios are already narrowband compliant, work perfectly fine and will last for many more years. No manufacturers have announced plans to stop making radios that are compatible with yours. Your radios still work with each other, right? So, what's the reason to chuck them and buy expensive new equipment? There is none.
But SOME radio reps would like you to buy all new digital radios at premium prices, locking you into their “closed system architecture”, raising their prices sky high and holding you hostage permanently because you’ll never be able to shop around to break out of their “closed system architecture.”
WARNING!: New digital radios are not compatible with each other! Different brands use different digital technology, forcing you to buy one brand exclusively, eliminating all competition for expansion, replacement parts, and service. And we all know that companies without competition can get away with poor service and higher prices because you can't go anywhere else. Gotcha!
(I could have broken that one into 4 or 5 probably. But I'm not worried. Still haven't broken a sweat and it's only 6:28pm.)
Reason #4: We Will Sell You What You Need to Get the Job Done...and Nothing More.
New digital radios have some great extra features like text messaging, but are you going to send a text during a hurricane or an evacuation? Your radios aren’t toys for teenagers to update their Facebook status. They are serious essential tools that save lives and are the heart of any large operation. What do you do with your current radios? You push and talk. What would you do if you had all new digital radios? You would push and talk, right? The only essential difference is that you pay thousands more dollars on digital radios to ...push and talk.
Don't pay thousands of dollars extra unless they can give you a simple, straightforward answer for how these “advanced” radios will help you do the essential tasks you want your radios to perform.

They want to charge you for a “set up service call” just for coming over and plugging a cord into a socket.
